India’s National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), launches a new short code – ‘155214’ for Labour Helpline Number, across the country to all the states and union territories of the nation.
BSNL opened this new short code as per the directions of DOT as a Category-1 Service. This helpline number can be used for any type labour requirements / help needed for any employment obligations.
155214 will be very much helpful to raise the labour grievances and thus to safeguard the employee from the employer exploitation.
As a Category-1 service, this service may also be introduced by other service providers in India. Labour Help line Number ‘155214’, is available across all circles and the calls from other service providers may be routed to BSNL as per existing inter connect agreement charges.
This is really a good move by BSNL and we may hope this new helpline number will be a great relief to safeguard the rights of employees.
