India’s Largest Landline and Broadband service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to revise the pulse duration of calls from its Landline (Fixed Line) Network. This revision of pulse duration will be implemented from 1st January 2015 onwards on PAN India basis for all Landline Tariff Plans.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be reducing the pulse duration of calls to Inter Circle BSNL Mobile Numbers from the existing 90 seconds to 60 seconds. Inter Circles Calls to Other Network Fixed Line Numbers will also be reduced to 60 seconds from the existing 90 seconds.
The pulse rate for fixed line remains the same and the pulse rate for calls from BSNL fixed network to fixed line of MTNL/other operator in Delhi/Mumbai or any adjacent SSA of BSNL has been reduced from 120 to 60 seconds.

BSNL has already revised the pulse duration of its Landline / WLL / CDMA Fixed Line services earlier this year. This will be the second revision of pulse duration within a time span of one year.
