BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle has restored all Voice and SMS STVs on this New Year Day for it’s Mobile Customers. Earlier, they have announced Blackout Days on December 31, 2014 and January 1, 2015 as per the TRAI regulations.
There was complaints from customers that, they were not informed about these Blackout Days well in advance. In addition to SMS STVs, BSNL’s most popular Voice STVs – STV VOICE135 & STV VOICE341 were also not available on 31st December 2014.
Customers who activated these STVs on yesterday were also was unaware of these Blackout Days. There was strong protest from BSNL customers about these Blackout Days in social media websites also.
After reviewing the customer response from different parts of Kerala, the authorities has decided to withdraw the Balckout Day on 1st January 2015 as a New Year Gift to all Mobile Customers. Now all BSNL Mobile customers can enjoy reduced SMS as well as Voice Call tariff as per their activated STVs.
BSNL Kerala Telecom circle authorities stated that, “BSNL is glad to inform our valuable customers that 1st January 2015 will not be a blackout day. Customers can make voice calls/SMS, use STV and other freebies without any restriction.”
