Supporting the Green India initiative, India’s largest PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that they will not be sending Paper Bills to their Employees from 1st February 2015 onwards. Instead, e-bills will be sent to Employees for BSNL Landline / Broadband services.
BSNL has already taken several steps supporting Green India (Go-Green) initiative. They have implemented loyalty reward scheme to all BSNL Landline and Broadband customers. In addition to this, BSNL has taken decision to power up their Mobile Towers by solar panels supporting Go Green initiative.
Being a State owned company, these decisions clearly shows the commitment by BSNL towards Green India initiative. Minimizing the usage of Paper in our day to day life will reduce deforestation and thereby help our earth to be green and a healthy place to live.
BSNL started minimizing paper usage within the company itself. As the next step towards Green India initiative, now BSNL is going to stop sending paper bills to its total employees for Landline & Broadband Services from 1st February 2015 onwards across India. The bills will be sent to the registered e-mail Id of employees.
