India’s 1st 4G – Wireless Broadband Service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) started buyback scheme for working WiMax Modem (CPE) from old customers. Under the “working CPE Buyback scheme,” BSNL will refund the Modem (CPE – Customer Premises Equipment) cost, which are in good working condition.
BSNL surrendered Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) spectrum
which was used for WiMax services in six circles but continued service in other circles. As a relief to subscribers who have invested in WiMax devices,
BSNL is now offering Rs 500 buyback for working WiMax CPE from old existing
customers.
The offer is applicable to all circles of BSNL and any BSNL WiMax users can surrender the working WiMax CPE for buyback offer. WiMax CPE was sold at a price of Rs 1000 for USB Dongle / Indoor CPE / Outdoor CPE.
Customers those who are not using using the services now, may get back the refund amount of Rs 500 for working WiMax Modem (CPE).
