Based on current market scenario and increase inservice tax, BSNL has decided to rationalize some of it’s popular Voice STVs under prepaid mobile services. The revised STVs will be implemented across all BSNL telecom circles from 9th June 2015 onwards.
BSNL will be reducing the freebies and validity of voice STVs like – STV VOICE135, STV VOICE45, STV VOICE122, STV VOICE341, STV VOICE65, STV VOICE699, STV VOICE161, STV VOICE31. In addition, BSNL has also decided to
launch one new Voice Calling STV – 159, which will offer 365 minutes
free local/STD calls to any network with a validity of 30 days.

The above STV rationalization will be effective for all the circles except STVs in specific circles which
have already been rationalized /withdrawn recently viz. STV 122, STV 344 and STV 65 for Bihar and STV 65
and STV 44 for Karnataka.
