Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched ‘V-Sangoshti’, a Managed Public Room Video Collaboration Service (MPRVCS) studio, in association with M/s Presto Infosolutions Pvt Ltd. Under this new project, BSNL has set up Video Conference Studios in different cities across India.
BSNL’s ‘V-Sangoshti’ service will make Video Conferencing facility accessible and simple to everybody at affordable tariff. Around 200 video conferencing studios are planned in this prestigious project which include 5 Telepresence suits in Metros with all required hardware, software and video conferencing systems.
The video conferencing system has built on a scalable platform to support 1000 concurrent calls and 5000 registration of endpoints. The streaming server will provide a quick and easy way to record Video meetings and view them live or on demand. This should support recording,playback and streaming of multiparty conferences as well as point to point calls.
Major Applications of BSNL’s ‘V-Sangoshti’ Video Conferencing Service are:-

- Recruitment: an Online interview is an integral part of the hiring process for countless domestic & international companies. Cutting the cost of travelling and eliminating middlemen, interviewing face to face and to read the body language of the candidate.
- Board/AGM meeting as Directors & Shareholders placed in different cities who want to attend the meeting can now have a successful meeting through V-Sangoshti.
