As we reported earlier, BSNL revised its existing 3G/2G prepaid annual data plan vouchers with effect from 1st October 2015 onwards on PAN India basis. MRP of annual data plan vouchers 1251, 2299 and 3299 were revised to 1499, 2799 and 3999 respectively. In addition BSNL has also launched one new Annual Data Plan Voucher which offers 30GB free 3G/2G data for 12 months with MRP of Rs 4499.
As per the latest information, BSNL prepaid mobile customers currently enrolled in any other plan are allowed to migrate to / activate any of the available annual data plans through selfcare by sending the required SMS keyword to 123. Earlier, it was possible only through C-Top up.

Unlike other existing annual data plan vouchers, the newly launched annual data plan voucher 4499 does not have monthly data usage limits. BSNL authorities also informed that, the auto validity extension and validity extension by migrating to Plan-8 will not be available for annual data plan vouchers.
Customers currently enrolled in any other prepaid mobile plan are allowed to migrate to annual data plans by sending the SMS keyword to 123. For example, a customer currently enrolled in Mithram Plan may send sms PLAN DATA4499 to 123 to change his plan to annual data plan 4499. Upon migration, all activated STVs (Voice/SMS/Data/ISD) will continue as such in the Annual Data Plan also. Without STVs, the tariff charges of Annual Data Plan will be as that of Per Minute prepaid plan.
The reverse process is also possible i.e., a customer currently enrolled in annual data plan may migrate to any of the existing prepaid mobile plans without losing his/ her annual data benefits.
