Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of Next Generation (NGN) Multimedia Video Conference (MMVC) plans with effect from 1st March 2016 on wards across all telecom circles.
BSNL is upgrading their Landline telephone exchanges to IP based Next Generation Network (NGN) which offers a variety of additional features and facilities like – Audio Conferencing, Multimedia Video Conferencing, Fixed Mobile Convergence, IP Centrex and Prepaid IVRS etc.
As we reported earlier, BSNL launched Zero Monthly rental discounted tariff plans as a promotional offer which were available up to 30th November 2015. From 1st December 2015 on wards, BSNL launched regular tariff plans for audio and multimedia video conference service which was slightly costlier than the promotional scheme.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be revising the tariff plans for Multimedia Video Conference services from 01-03-2016 on wards on PAN India basis. The tariff plan for audio conference service will remain the same.

Multimedia video conference (MMVC) can have both BSNL and non-BSNL participants. MMVC service (Pilot no.) would be provided to BSNL landline only. Rs.25/- would be charged per conference booking. In addition, BSNL will be offering Special Discounts to customers based on their billed amount. Its details are given below:
Special Bill Discounts:
- No discount up to Rs.5000/-
- 5% between Rs.5000 to Rs.9999/-
- 10% between Rs.10000 to Rs.19999/-
- 20% > Rs.20000/- and above
