BSNL already launched Free Public Wi-Fi services at busy city centers / tourist locations in the city of Kochi. Customers of any telecom operator may enjoy 15 minutes of Wi-Fi internet service absolutely Free. BSNL commissioned Wi-Fi access points in 10 locations in Kochi.

- Corporation Office
- Durbar Hall Ground
- District Court Complex
- High Court
- Kaloor
- Edappally Junction
- Marine Drive
- Subhash Park
FREE Wi-Fi services will be available in all these 10 locations for the First 15 Minutes in a month for the same mobile number. Apart from this, the customers will have to pay a fixed tariff rate for using the WiFi and it can be available through online recharge method or through physical recharge coupons.

Customers having Wi-Fi enabled handset / laptop may access BSNL Wi-Fi services up to 150 metres from the Access Point. To verify BSNL Free Wi-Fi coverage, just turn on the Wi-Fi in your handset / laptop and search for ‘QFI-BSNL’ SSID.
