State run telecom major Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of ‘BSNL WiFi Free plan’ to retail customers across all telecom circles. As per the latest information, BSNL will be introducing two major changes in ‘BSNL WiFi Free plan’.
Henceforth, BSNL will be offering 15 Minutes Free WiFi usage only at tourist locations and that too only once for same mobile number. The maximum bandwidth (download speed) during Free WiFi usage will be restricted to 256 Kbps.
Revised ‘BSNL WiFi Free Plan’ from 21-03-2016 across all telecom circles

The above ‘Free WiFi plan’ shall henceforth be offered only at tourist places’ WiFi Hot Spots. Free WiFi duration shall not be offered at any other places. During Free WiFi usage, speed to any user shall be restricted to 256 Kbps. All other terms and conditions shall remain same. The above tariff change shall be effective with effect from 21-03-2016 in all the Circles.
The major impact of this tariff revision is that, from 21st March 2016 on wards customers will not be able to enjoy the monthly free WiFi usage of 15 minutes at BSNL Public WiFi locations.
