PAN India 3G Service provider Bahrat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to offer STD facility to all the existing and new Postpaid Mobile customers of South Zone without any additional charges / request.
BSNL has decided to allow STD outgoing call facility to all postpaid mobile customers since STD barring is technically not feasible after the implementation of Full Mobile Number Portability (FMNP).
As per the latest information, STD facility will be enabled for all the existing and new BSNL postpaid (both 2G and 3G) subscribers of South Zone by default. Hence both existing and new postpaid mobile customers need not submit special request for sanctioning STD facility on their number.
Full MNP / National MNP launched in the country on 3rd of July 2015, which allow subscribers to retain their existing mobile number in any part of the country even when they change their operator or state. Customers who wish to retain their mobile number in other states / telecom circles may follow the same procedure for porting as in the case of MNP.
