    BSNL made tele-verification process for new mobile customers simple and easy by automatic diversion of calls to ‘1507’

    State run PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to make the tele-verification process for its new mobile customers simple and easy.

    As per the latest information, BSNL will be automatically diverting the initial call made from a new mobile connection to the tele-verification number 1507. Hence customers need not by-heart or remember the number – 1507 – for tele-verification process.

    A large number of customers especially those from rural areas are not aware of the tele-verification process and thus activation of new mobile connections are getting delayed. The call center number for tele-verification process is not unique and is different for each telecom operators.

    For the faster activation process, any number dialed from the customers will be diverted to tele-verification number 1507 irrespective of the number dialed for tele-verification and once the tele-verification process is complete, the call will be routed as per the actual number dialed by the customer.

    BSNL Corporate Office has given all telecom circles to make necessary modifications in the switches so that new mobile connections may be activated without any delay.


    The tele-verification process is compulsory for new prepaid and postpaid mobile connections as per DoT instructions. At present, the subscriber has to dial 1507 for tele-verification of his name, address, POI (Proof of Identity) & POA (Proof of Address). Within 4 hours of tele-verification, the SIM shall be activated for all outgoing & incoming. 


    For MNP (PORT IN) customers, the tele-verification call has to be made by the recipient operator after processing the CAF (Customer Application Form) submitted by the customer.

      I swith my network form airtel to bsnl but now very much disappointed with bsnl service. I am staying out side of my state so i can not verify the address just because of i belong to other state. When i called the bsnl ahent they informed me to verify the address with my own state bsnl agent. The number which i switched is very crusial for me. But now i am unable to use my sim card.

      BSNL की सेवा को और बेहतर करने के लिए मेरा सुझाव है कि BSNL के टावर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र मै भी लगाए जाये जिससे कि ग्रामीण भी BSNL मोबाइल सर्विस का लाभ उठा सकें और देश कि सबसे बड़ी कंपनी बन सके. जैसा कि हम सब जानते हैँ इस समय जिओ नम्बर एक पर है हर मामले में जबकि उसे मार्किट में आये अभी चार साल हुए हैं और BSNL को 25-30 साल तो कौन बेहतर है और हो भी क्यों नहीं सरकारी काम तो ऐसे ही होते हैँ अगर यही कंपनी किसी बिजनेस मैंन की होती तो कहाँ होती ये आप सब जानते हैँ समझदार हैँ ज्यादा बताने की जरुरत नहीं. और टीवी पर ऐड तो ऐसे दिखाएंगे मानो सारी बुलंदियों को छू लिया हो छ छ…..

      I am calling for activate my new bsnl sim.when I call to 1507 hear only the bsnl tone for 2 hours, no one is attend the call for televerification.what nonsense is going happening along with bsnl.and also when we select ivrs language as Malayalam ,the customer care execute is speak only English and hindi….ache din aah gaya

      I bought the sim on 24 of January and its its initial verification was done today, still i tried calling 1507 for approx 100 times😑😑😑 but sometimes it says service not available.. sometime 😤it says its busy at the time pls call again later😪😑😑…
      Even i paid fully for my internet pack. . Still m just waiting it to get activated!!

      Bhai ek dam faltu hota hai bsnl sim 1 ghanta se call karte hai per ek baar v call nhi jata hai verification 3 din se kar rahe hai per ek baar v nhi hota hai 1507
