    BSNL to offer One Static IP Address to all the PAN India and circle specific Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans from 26-05-2016 on wards in all the circles

    State run PSU, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set to increase its profitability by offering best in class services to its esteemed customers at the lowest and affordable tariff.
    BSNL to offer One Static IP Address to all the PAN India and circle specific Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans from 26-05-2016 on wards in all the circles
    The PSU is trying their level best to cater the ever increasing demand from its customers for high speed broadband services through Wired and Wireless media. As per the latest information, BSNL has decided to offer ‘One Static IP Address (on request)’ to all the PAN India and circle specific FTTH Broadband  plans with effect from 26-05-2016 in all the circles.

    Currently, BSNL is offering all the DSL (ADSL/VDSL) Broadband plans on FTTH with same tariff. Hence BSNL authorities has decided to offer ‘one static IP address (on request)’ under all the PAN India and circle specific FTTH Broadband plans with the tariff as follows:

    Sl NoFiber (FTTH) Broadband PlansAdditional Charges per annum (Rs)
    1FTTH Broadband plans with FMC Rs. 1000/- and above but less than Rs. 1500/-2000/-
    2FTTH Broadband plans with FMC Rs. 1500/- and above but less than Rs. 2799/-1800/-

    All other terms and conditions shall remain same the same and the above tariff will be applicable with effect from 26th May 2016 on wards in all the telecom circles.

    Static IP addresses are needed for special applications like Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), to host a gaming website or to play X-Box, Play Station. Static IP addresses are also great if you use your computer as a server, as it should give your file server faster file uploads and downloads.     BSNL announced 100% FREE Installation Charges for New Fiber Connections as a promotional offer for 90 days from 23-05-2016 on PAN India basis. Free installation charges will be applicable to new Landline, Broadband and Combo connections registered during the offer period.       Good to know that BSNL is coming up with new options. But i feel this is too late. They should have started previous year itself to cover more users. But private ISP has taken over the market and BSNL now suffers 🙁
