National telecom backbone, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of installation charges for new Fiber Broadband (FTTH) connections from 20th June 2016 on wards on PAN India basis.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be revising the installation charges for new FTTH customers opting Voice Services, Broadband Services, Combo plans with Voice + Broadband Services through optical fiber media.
Revised Installation Charges for New FTTH Connections – PAN India Tariff from 20-06-2016 on wards

* If ONT(Optical Modem) is taken on rent from BSNL or ONT is purchased by the customer from outside and installation by BSNL.
All other terms and conditions shall remain same. The above instructions shall be effective with effect from 20-06-2016 in all the circles.
Installation charges will be revised to Rs 750/- from Rs 500/- for new FTTH customers subscribing to Voice Only / Broadband Only services. BSNL will be charging Rs 1000/- for new FTTH customers opting both Voice and Broadband services. In addition, Rs 250/- will be charged as installation charges for an existing FTTH Voice customer opting additional broadband services.
However, BSNL launched 100% waival off installation charges for New FTTH Connections as a promotional offer for 90 days which is available up to 20-08-2016 in all the circles. See its details below:
Recently BSNL upgraded the download speed and FUP limit of all existing Fiber Broadband plans from 1st May 2016. FUP limit of Fibro Broadband plans increased up to 300% without hiking the monthly rental which made BSNL’s FTTH plans more competitive and attractive among other private broadband operators.
