Kudos to BSNL Kerala Circle for their excellent performance in acquiring customers of private operators through MNP. As per the latest MNP reports of Kerala Circle, more than 1.6 lakh mobile users of private operators joined BSNL through MNP in 2016 alone.
BSNL lost just 60,000 customers in 2016 (up to 28-07-2016), with net gain of over 1 lakh mobile users through MNP. The performance of BSNL Mobile services has improved a lot in Kerala Circle with the addition of new 3G mobile towers even in the rural / remote villages.
As per the latest information, BSNL is busy in increasing its 3G footprint by installing around 2000 new 3G mobile towers across the state. New 3G mobile towers sites are being added to BSNL mobile network everyday and the important thing is that, most of these new 3G towers are being installed in rural villages.

Average Daily MNP Statistics for BSNL Kerala Circle: On each day, around 770 mobile users of private operators are joining BSNL family while just 283 existing customers are leaving from BSNL in Kerala Circle.

however, since 2010, we are waiting for 3G in our area. Currently we had one G(below 2G) here. Please do at least 2G!
For the past five years I am complaining about the coverage in my which area in the heart of Trivandrum city and even I send the complaint to bsnl head office. But nothing has been done. Bsnl Kerala is the worst among the southern circles. I don't know how customers are porting to BSNL. In Karnataka is best than any other private operator
We do have totally no coverage in our area for around 10 km radius.but private operators have good coverage.people in our area murmuring that its a play from bsnl to help private operators

I think BSNL has done some tricks in their mobile tower near to my home. For the last 7 years I was getting an average speed of 270 kbps in my area in 3G network. From the last one month onward I am getting a speed of 3.6 Mbps to 5.6 Mpbs. That means they are expanding their 3G network. Now the 3G speed is getting closer to Jio 4G. Thanks a lot…
