Happy news to all postpaid mobile customers of BSNL, as the PSU has decided to allow Free 3G/2G Data offered under Postpaid Voice Plans to be used in Home LSA as well as in National Roaming.
Till now, BSNL postpaid mobile customers are not allowed to use their voice plan bundled free 3G/2G Data out side home circle / LSA (licensed service area). Now, based on the response from customers and field units, BSNL authorities has decided to offer postpaid voice plan bundled Free Data to be used from anywhere in India.
It means, BSNL has launched Roam Like Home (RLH) for 3G/2G Data services for its postpaid mobile customers. Customers may consume voice plan bundled free data from any where in India just as in home circle. However, RLH is not applicable to voice calls and voice tariff will be as per their enrolled postpaid mobile plan.
BSNL offers bundled free 3G/2G data usage up to 2GB with all existing postpaid mobile plans whose FMC starts from Rs 225 on wards. BSNL postpaid mobile plan 225 is bundled with 200 MB free data, plan 325 with 250 MB free data, plan 525 with 500 MB free data, plan 725 with 1000 MB free data and plan 1500 with 2000 MB free data.
BSNL postpaid mobile customers who subscribe under any postpaid 3G/2G Add-on Data plan were already allowed to use their Free Data from anywhere in India. With this new clarification, BSNL postpaid mobile customers may enjoy their voice plan bundled free data + free data with 3G/2G add-on plan (subscribed if any) in Home LSA as well as in National Roaming.
