PAN India 3G service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to add more exciting features and special benefits like – Friends and Family facility @ 10ps/min, All outgoing calls @ 10ps/min etc to the recently launched ‘Student Special’ prepaid mobile plan.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be offering Friends & Family(F&F) facility with Student special plan for two local numbers of any network. Customers in Student Special plan may enjoy reduced tariff of 10ps/min to local BSNL F&F number and 20ps/min tariff to local other network F&F number.
Addition of Friends and Family (F&F) features in Student Special Plan
Customers may register any two local numbers (Mobile / Landline / GSM / CDMA) of BSNL or other network numbers as their F&F numbers in Student Special plan. The F&F numbers can be any combination of BSNL / Other Network local numbers. Registration of each F&F number / change of each F&F number will be charged @ Rs 5/change or

The tariff offered for F&F number will be applicable in home LSA only. If number under Student Special plan is in roaming then base tariff will be applicable for calling to F&F number also i.e. no

Enjoy all outgoing calls @ 10ps/min with special STVs – Voice STV88 & Voice STV42
Customers in Student Special plan will be allowed to use Voice STV88 and Voice STV42 with only “minute” pulse option. It means, customers in student special plan may continue to enjoy the reduced call tariff of 10ps/min (BSNL Network) & 30ps/min (Other Network) with special voice STVs 88 and 42. Voice STV 42 will offer 21 days validiy and Voice STV 88 will offer 48 days validity for 10ps/min tariff.

BSNL will not allow migration to this plan from other existing prepaid mobile plans. Customers may subscribe to BSNL’s Students Special plan through MNP or New Connections. But migration from ‘Student Special plan’ to other plans is allowed. ‘Student Special Plan’ is also applicable in J&K and North East Circles. For J&K and North East circles, the validity of ‘Student special Plan’ will be 90 days instead of One Year.
