Initial cost of Student Special plan is Rs 118/- + SIM cost. Customers may get FREE BSNL SIM cards during Mela period.

- Nano SIM cards (having memory capacity up to 128K) cost Rs 59/-.
- Normal / Micro/Nano SIM cards with 256K memory will cost Rs 100/-
How to Continue the initial offer of Reduced Call Rate of 10ps/minute after 60 days?
Student Special plan customers may activate Voice STVs – 42 or 88 to continue 10ps/min call rate even after 60 days. Voice STV 42 offers a validity of 21 days whereas Voice STV 88 offers 48 days validity for 10ps/min call rate.

BSNL Student Special plan became the most popular prepaid mobile plan among youngsters since it comes with 1GB free 3G data along with cheapest call rate of 10 paise / minute and 1 year validity. However, existing BSNL prepaid mobile customers are not allowed to migrate to this promotional plan. It means, this scheme is exclusively available for new and MNP customers who joins BSNL family.
