PAN India 3G Service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited (BSNL) has decided to extend its most popular promotional prepaid mobile plan – Students Special – to all existing customers.
Currently, BSNL offers Students Special plan exclusive for New and MNP port-in customers. Now, based on the overwhelming response from customers, the PSU has decided to extend the scheme to all existing prepaid mobile customers in all the circles.
BSNL authorities has clarified that, the existing prepaid mobile subscribers are allowed to
migrate to the “Student Special” Plan, however migration is allowed without free data usage of 1 GB and free bundled Top up of Rs. 10 with full talk value. All the other terms and conditions will remain same. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff
Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.

How to change your current prepaid mobile plan to Student Special?
Existing prepaid mobile customers are allowed to change their plan to Student Special with effect from 28-09-2016 on wards.
- Method 1: Recharge 118/-
- Method 2: Send sms PLAN space STUDENT to 123
- Method 3: Plan change via USSD Selfcare (*124#) or Web Selfcare (www.bsnlszprepaid.com)
Amount deducted from main account on SMS / Selfcare activation is Rs 102.61 only.

it is foolish dicision without 1GB of data and no one will change to student plan because no benefit even after expensing 118 rupees.please implement same stv applicable in roming like own circle instead of charging base tariff in roaming.
Useless for existing customers, cant find any advantages to migrate this plan.! even no data.!!! & even no full talk values on recharge on small amount.!! if BSNL is thinking that it will retain its customer by giving this type of offers, then "long live BSNL".!!!
We are expecting kind of one India one rate plans, need to charge in roaming as charging in home. Without 1 GB data , nobody gonna migrate. STV and FNF is available in mithram plan, why should spend Rs. 118/-
