Yes, it is TRUE. State run telecom major, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will give you 100% Free monthly rental for any unlimited / limited broadband plan of your choice till 31st March 2017.
Under the promotional scheme, one may get 100% Free Broadband subscription for one month in any broadband plan + Free Installation Charges for broadband connection + 500 Extra Free Calls to any network for one month in addition to already available free calls. This promotional scheme is available up to 31st March 2017 in all the circles.
Promotional scheme in all the Circles to those customers who are migrating from any private Broadband operator to BSNL (up to 31-03-2017)
In order to increase Broadband customers, it has been decided by the BSNL authorities to extend the following promotional scheme in all the circles for those Broadband customers who are migrating from any private Broadband operator to BSNL:-
- To waive off Broadband installation charges for the standalone / Combo Broadband plans.
- To waive off one month FMC (Fixed Monthly Charges) of the Broadband plan.
- To offer 500 free calls to all network (ON-NET/OFF-NET) for one month (in addition to already available free calls) under Broadband combo plans.
To avail the above scheme, the customer has to submit the copy of private broadband operator’s latest bill, issued within two month prior to the month of providing BSNL Broadband connection.
In order to attract broadband customers of private broadband / cable TV broadband operators, BSNL launched this lucrative 100% Rent Free Broadband Offer earlier in March 2016. The scheme got overwhelming response from customers all over India and hence the PSU extended the same for a period up to 31st December 2016. And now, BSNL has decided to extend the scheme for a period up to 31st March 2017 on PAN India basis.
BSNL already extended its promotional Landline plan 49 & Unlimited Broadband plan 249 till 31st March 2017 on PAN India basis. See its details below:

all these types of plans will not promote customer to attract bsnl landlines.i wondered that last two months our bb conection is down.complained several times .no repair.paying 1000 rupees monthly.i think that this types of arraogant and negligance type telecom operators are not anywhere in the world.customer is a real fool that is the reason we are being paid 1000 rupees monthly.telephone is working.problem is with only internet.today we purchased one motorolla FWP and took one vodafone connection recharged 348 for unlimited call enjoiying unlimited call with vodafone.we will decide later what would be done with bsnl landline and BB conection.
