As we already know, BSNL has been taking various initiatives to launch innovative and customer friendly offers for its customers in both Wireless & Wired segments. As per the latest information, the PSU has decided to slash monthly rental & security deposit of FTTH (Fiber To The Home – Fiber Broadband Services) ONT Modem with effect from 1st May 2017on wards on PAN India basis.
BSNL is currently making agreements with local cable TV operators & building owners to provide state-of-the-art FTTH Broadband services to customers at most affordable & economical tariff plans. Monthly rental of FTTH ONT modem has been reduced to Rs 90/- from existing rate of Rs 150/- whereas security deposit has been halved to Rs 500/- from existing rate of Rs 1000/-.

All other terms and conditions shall remain same as per earlier circulars. These instructions shall be effective with effect from 01-05-2017 in all the Circles.
BSNL has announced the revision of its unlimited broadband plans to offer minimum download speed of 4Mbps for all existing and new customers. The revised / upgraded broadband plans are also going to be implemented on 1st May 2017. In addition, the pre-FUP download quota of some selected broadband plans has also increased without increasing monthly rental.

Dear Sir,
While you were publicising more BB Connections and FTTH connections my experience in this sector is that even though I requested addl FTTH connection and BB connection under plan 48 for voice and plan 249 for data ,even after a lapse of two months and odd nothing happened till date.Then why give promises that could not be fulfilled.Not even a line in reply for both FTTH Connection and BB connection application have been received from BSNL till date
