PAN India 3G service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has re-launched its promotional Welcome Offer for each new prepaid mobile connections including MNP port In customers from 29th August 2017 on wards in all the circles.
As we reported earlier, BSNL introduced Welcome Offer to promote data usage among new & MNP customers. The offer was expired on 28-08-2017. Now, BSNL authorities has decided to extend the same scheme further for a period of 90 days from 29-08-2017. Under this scheme, BSNL offers 500 MB free data to each new/MNP port-in customers in East Zone & 350 MB free data to each new/MNP port-in customers in all other zones (West/South/North) from 29-08-2017 to 26-11-2017.
An official statement from BSNL read as follows :- To promote the data usage among BSNL’s new subscribers, it has been decided by competent authority to introduce a Promotional ‘Welcome Offer’ of 500 MB free data in East Zone and 350 MB free data in other Zones (to be used in first 30 days) for each new connection including MNP port in customers, on PAN India basis for a period of 90 days from 29-08-2017.
Above schemes will be applicable for all prepaid plans. Plans, wherein less than 350 MB (SZ/WZ/NZ) OR 500 MB (EZ) free data is being given, shall be offered additional freebies in the above scheme to make the total freebies equal to 350 MB (SZ/WZ/NZ) OR 500 MB (EZ). However, if any plan offers free data more than 350 MB (SZ/WZ/NZ) OR 500 MB (EZ), they will continue to get the same freebies without any change.
The above tariff will be available from 29-08-2017 to 26-11-2017. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
