BSNL – India’s largest wire-line operator has announced the launch of 1+1 scheme in landline segment in all the circles with immediate effect.
As per the latest information, BSNL will provide 2nd landline telephone connection rent free to the customers who are already having one landline connection in his / her premises. In addition, BSNL will also offer call charges discounts on the second rent free connection.
An official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of 1+1 scheme in landline read as follows :- Now, the competent authority has approved to provide 2nd Landline Telephone rent free to the customers
who are having one landline connection at his premises. The 2nd landline connection will be given at the
same premises where the first landline connection is installed on promotional basis for three months on
PAN India basis.
There shall be call charges discounts on the 2nd rent free connection, the details of which is as follows: –
- Call Charges, up to Rs. 200/-, Discount Nil.
- Call Charges, More than Rs. 200 but less than and equal to Rs. 500/-, Discount 25%
- Call Charges. More than Rs. 500/-, Discount 50%
The above instructions shall be effective with immediate effect in all the circles. Customers may submit their request in their nearest BSNL Customer Service Center or BSNL Telephone Exchange for 2nd landline telephone connection under the newly launched 1+1 scheme. The above scheme is available as a promotional for three months in all the telecom circles.
