Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the rationalization of tariff under GSM postpaid mobile services.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be offering unlimited data with all postpaid mobile plans and data add-on plans with effect from 1st July 2018 on wards. Customers may enjoy unlimited data with reduced speed of 40 Kbps after existing free data usage limit.
An official statement from BSNL read as follows – The competent authority has decided to rationalize the tariff under GSM postpaid mobile services as under:-
- The Data with all Post-paid mobile plans to be converted to unlimited with speed reduced to 40 Kbps after present free data limit.
- All limited Data Add-ons to be converted to unlimited with speed reduced to 40 Kbps after present free data limit.
All other terms and conditions will remain same of the respective plans / Add-ons. The above tariff will be implemented with effect from 01-07-2018. The implementation of the tariff is will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
