BSNL has announced the revision in data charges with base plans for both prepaid and postpaid mobile customers from 1st May 2019 on wards.
As per the latest information, the base tariff for BSNL mobile data services will be 25paisa/MB for prepaid and postpaid services. The revised tariff will be effective from 01-05-2019 on wards for all APNs of the BSNL.
An official statement regarding the revision in base data tariff for mobile services read as follows:- “The competent authority has decided to
rationalize the data charges @ ’25paisa/MB’ under prepaid and postpaid GSM services for all APNs of the
BSNL.”
The above tariff revision is applicable only to those customers who are not using any data offers (Data STVs/ Plans bundled with Free Data). Now a days everyone is using unlimited data packs and hence this tariff revision will not make a major impact on normal customers.
