Stare run telecom major – BSNL has announced the suspension of its prepaid International WiFi service which was provided in association with M/s Tata Communications.
As per the latest information, BSNL has suspended the agreement made with M/s Tata Communications for International WiFi Services. It is also informed that, BSNL is currently in discussion with new partner for the aforesaid services.
As we reported in January 2017, BSNL launched its International WiFi services through 44 million WiFi hotspots in partnership with M/s Tata Communications Wi-Fi+ and Wi-Fi cloud communication solution. Under this scheme, unlimited international WiFi services can be availed by a customers who is travelling abroad without even taking International Roaming facility on your existing BSNL mobile number.
Now, BSNL authorities has informed that, though discussions are started with the new partner, it would take some more time to reach the final agreement and technical integration.
