BSNL has announced the withdrawal of its two postpaid mobile plans – Plan 149 & Plan 725 on PAN India basis. As per the latest information, these two plans will not be available to new customers for subscription.
BSNL has also decided to offer special discount scheme to existing customers in these plans to migrate to other higher plans. Customers in Plan 149 / Plan 725 may get special cash discount for three months on migrating to any other higher postpaid plan during this promotional period. This discount scheme is available for a period up to 30th September 2020.

- BSNL will be pushing SMS to existing customers of Plan 149 to migrate to any other plan like Plan 225 before 30th September 2020.
- After 30th September 2020, the customers in Plan 149 will be migrated to Plan 99 with intimation by SMS.
- Offer of Rs 25/- discount for 3 months to the customers of Plan 149 migrating to any higher plan.

- BSNL will be pushing SMS to existing customers of Plan 725 to migrate to any other plan like Plan 799.
- Offer of Rs 75/- discount for 3 months to the customers of Plan 725 migrating to any higher plan.

Under the above special discount scheme, a customer in withdrawn Plan 149 will get a total of Rs 75/- discount on migrating to any other higher plan. Similarly, a customer in Plan 725 will get a total discount of Rs 225/- i.e., Rs 75/- per month for 3 months on migrating to any other higher plan.
