Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to revise the installation charges for Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) connections with immediate effect in all the telecom circles.
As per the latest information, the revised installation charges for Voice / Broadband / Combo plans under Bharat Fiber category would be Rs 500/- instead of the present installation charges of Rs 250/-. The revised charges are applicable for all new BSNL FTTH connections (BSNL Fiber net) connections in all telecom circles.

No separate installation charge for the ONT installation shall be levied over & above the service
level installation charges as mentioned above per connection under Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) category. All other terms and conditions shall remain same as per earlier circulars. These instructions shall be effective with immediate effect in all the circles.

As per the above tariff revision, all new BSNL FTTH customers need to pay revised installation charges of Rs 500/- for Data Only or Voice Only or Combo Plans. At present, BSNL is charging installation charges of Rs 250/- per FTTH connection (for Voice only / Data Only / Combo Plans). However, existing broadband only customers can add voice service without any additional cost. It is also to be noted that, BSNL will be charging Zero Installation charges for customers opting Annual / Higher payment options. Customers opting annual advance payment scheme will get one month free service whereas two year scheme will get two months and three year scheme will get 4 months free service.
As we already reported, BSNL is adding millions of new Bharat Fiber connections every month with the support of Tlecom Infrastructure Provider (TIPs) and Local Cable Operators (LCOs). To build blanket coverage for GPON network, the PSU has decided to add more and more new franchisees all over India. New TIPs/LCOs/MSOs can register online to become BSNL authorised FTTH distributor in any area of their choice. For customers, the PSU has developed a new online portal – Book My Fiber – to capture the online leads / booking for new Bharat Fiber Connections anywhere in India. Customers may also book their BSNL FTTH connection through My BSNL App.

For existing landline / broadband customers, BSNL launched migration facility to Bharat Fiber category by retaining their landline same number. Now existing BSNL landline customers can change their number to fiber connection by submitting their request at nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC).

BSNL charged me Rs500 for Adjustment For BHARAT_FIBER_Installation-SAC. Whats the meaning ?
I like how they are talking about increasing the charge from 250 to 500 meanwhile their own vendors are charging anywhere from 5000/- to 15000/- from customers. Bsnl officials are aware of this and yet do nothing. #CorruptIndia #CorruptBSNL #Corruptionforever
