North Zone includes – Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West and Uttaranchal telecom circles. Customers in those areas can also subscribe to BSNL Missed Call Alert service at a nominal charge of just Rs 15 per month. This value added service from BSNL is totally free to BSNL mobile customers in all other telecom circles.
Here’s How you can Activate / De-Activate BSNL Missed Call Alert Service on your Mobile Number
All you need to do to activate BSNL’s Missed Call Alert Service is to ‘divert voice calls when out of coverage area’ to the number ‘+9117010’.
Step by step procedure to Activate BSNL Missed Call Alert service
- Go to Settings (or Open Dial pad)
- Select : Call settings
- Select : Call divert/Call Forward
- Select : ‘Divert when Out of Coverage Area’ (Options may differ from phone to phone )
- Type the Number +9117010
- Save the settings
