BSNL Kerala Telecom Circle today announced the revision in validity of one of it’s most popular prepaid mobile plans – Mithram Plus ( Plan Voucher ₹109) to 30 days with effect from 27th October 2020 onwards. As per the latest information, the revision in validity will be applicable to new / existing prepaid mobile customers activating Mithram Plus plan on or after 27th October 2020.
However, there will not be any change or revision in the existing freebies (free calls and free data) which are bundled with Plan Voucher 109. Customers activating Mithram Plus Prepaid Mobile plan will get unlimited calls and total 5GB data for the first 20 days. BSNL has implemented FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit of 250 min calls per day for unlimited voice call benefits associated with all plan vouchers (PVs) and special tariff vouchers (STVs).

All other terms and conditions remain the same for Mithram Plus prepaid plan. It means, after 27th October 2020, all existing and new BSNL prepaid mobile customers can activate revised Mithram Plus Plan Only. On activation Plan Voucher Rs 109, customers will get unlimited free calls and data (total 5GB) for the first 20 days and the validity will be there for another 10 more days. After 30th day, a customer in Mithram Plus plan need to recharge again with Plan Voucher Rs 109/- to extend his/her SIM validity.
How to Extend Validity of Mithram Plus Prepaid Plan after 27th October 2020?
Similar to new Mithram Plus customers, validity expired customers while recharging with Rs 109 will get 30 days validity only. However, they may also get unlimited free calls and total 5GB data for the first 20 days after recharge. To get higher validity period, customers may use any other Plan voucher denomination like – Plan Voucher 365(Validity 365 Days) or Plan Voucher 399(Validity 80 Days) or Plan Voucher 485(Validity 90 Days) or Plan Voucher 666 (Validity 134 Days).

BSNL to Discontinue Mithram Plus Plan ?
BSNL has also announced that, after 27th October 2020, Mithram Plus Plan will be a promotional offer only. It means, there is a chance that, BSNL may withdraw or discontinue BSNL Mithram Plus plan after the promotional period.
