BSNL customers can can enjoy seamless connectivity in Delhi & National Capital Region (NCR) area in association with Vodafone. BSNL prepaid as well as postpaid mobile customers roaming in to Delhi & NCR area can access Vodafone Delhi mobile network in addition to its existing tie up with MTNL.
BSNL customers need to activate Vodafone Roaming by sending activation SMS from their mobile number to 53333. To activate Vodafone roaming, a BSNL customer need to send ACT ROAM to 53333. After SMS activation, a BSNL customer need to manually select Vodafone or MTNL network. It is also to be noted that, a notional incoming call charge is to be payable by BSNL Customer in Vodafone Roaming.
How to Activate Vodafone Roaming by a BSNL Customer?
BSNL Customers need to give their consent to BSNL by sending SMS – ‘ACT ROAM’ to 53333 to use Vodafone Network in Delhi as additional feature through Manual Network Selection. After customer sends ACT ROAM to 53333, the server will receive the message and
Billing server will send the message as:-
“Dear Customer, Your additional roaming activation request for docket_no xxxx is
received. Thanks BSNL.”
After the activation of Vodafone roaming, the following SMS will be pushed to customer.
“Dear customer, as requested, your additional roaming service has now been activated. Please choose the Vodafone/MTNL network manually and also note that I/C calls are chargeable. For Prepaid, no STV will work. For tariff details, call 18001801503. “
How to Deactivate Vodafone Roaming?
To deactivate additional roaming service send SMS – ‘DEACT ROAM’ to 53333.

Yes. The incoming voice call for BSNL customer roaming in Delhi with M/s Vodafone as VLMN
will be charged @ Rs. 0.45/minute. The above tariff / charges is applicable to both prepaid and postpaid mobile customers of BSNL.
I have an active data pack still my account balance is getting deducted for data usage while roaming in Vodafone network in Delhi, Why?

No. Any type of STV including data STV will not be applicable for BSNL prepaid customer roaming in
Delhi with M/s Vodafone as VLMN. Any type of Add-on including data will not be applicable for BSNL postpaid mobile
customer roaming in Delhi with M/s Vodafone as VLMN.
