Finally, BSNL has upgraded the bandwidth and pre-FUP data usage in all existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans. We had reported about this latest speed upgradation from BSNL for its Bharat Fiber (FTTH) broadband customers on 11th December 2020.

As per the latest information, the said speed upgradation with increased data usage has been implemented by BSNL from today, 20th December 2020 onwards. Many of our readers started getting increased download speed (up to 10 times) and upgraded usage without any increase in monthly rent or additional speed upgradation charges.

The above revised Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans are available to both new and existing customers without any restriction is city / area. It means, customers all over India may enjoy upgraded speed and usage in all existing plans as well. BSNL customers will not be charged anything extra for this upgraded speed and usage.

What are the best FTTH plans for new BSNL Bharat Fiber Customers?

BSNL offers 30Mbps download speed and 3.3TB usage in Bharat Fiber Basic 449 plan which is exclusively available for new customers as a Welcome Offer. However, customers in this plan will be migrated automatically to Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan after 6 months. Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan offers 60Mbps download speed and 3.3TB data usage. In addition, customers may also enjoy unlimited free voice calls to any network from the VoIP number which is bundled with all Bharat Fiber Broadband plans.

Is there any change in Download Speed for newly launched BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Plans (Fiber Basic, Fiber Basic Plus, Fiber Value, Fiber Premium & Fiber Ultra) ?

How can I apply for BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connection?

Customers can book their Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) connection online via Book My Fiber Portal or My BSNL Mobile App. In addition, customers may also contact your nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC) to submit application form for your BSNL FTTH connection.

Is it possible to migrate my existing Landline Number to Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH)?

Yes. BSNL allows migration of existing Landline number to FTTH by retaining old telephone number. However, the facility is currently available only in limited telephone exchange areas. Please contact your nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC) to check whether your landline telephone exchange supports migration to BSNL FTTH with existing telephone number.

I want to get a fiber broadband connection with Static IP address. Whether BSNL offer static IP address with Bharat Fiber plans? What are the charges for Static IP address?

Yes. BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers can avail static IP address bundled with Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans with monthly rental from Rs 1277/- onwards.  There will be a nominal annual charges for static IP address for plans with monthly rental upto Rs 2799/-. Customers opting BSNL Bharat Fiber plans with monthly rental above Rs 2799/- may get FREE static IP address on request.

BSNL to Reduce the Number of Bharat Fiber (FTTH) & ADSL Broadband Plans?

We expect a few rationalization in existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) and ADSL Broadband plans in coming days from BSNL. After the revision, the freebies in higher end plans are almost the same. We hope BSNL may reduce the number of tariff plans to minimum by withdrawing some of the existing Bharat Fiber plans within a couple of days.
