What about internal shifting (shifting from one room to another) charge in all broadband categry?
No charges for BSNL. You can arrange the same with your electrician.
Installation charges are too high, they are charging up to 4000rs in Bangalore, others are charging around 2000rs.
Installation charges normally include cost of WiFi router and ofc laying (if ofc cable has to be laid for more than the maximum prescribed limit as decided by BSNL) and splicing charges. However depending on the length of OFC cable needed to extend connection, there may be slight variation in installation charges for each customer.
BSNL is almost sunker ship. Today its in Rs.45,000 crore loss. Its not viable for govt to say the PSU any more. After all its not RS Prasad money, but the taxpayers who are hit hard for lending money to save a sinking ship.
The root cause for continue kisse is the DOT babua, big white eliphenta, eating into tax payega money like termites. And govt is in deep slumber. One can read the plight of BSNL in Pune that a SDE is put in charge to look after 27 exchanges, a work which was earlier done by 25 SDE. Des liye my contacts with PGM, CGM, CMD and Minister, I had nit git Bharat Fiber connection sunder months, dolly as the censor and partner with BSNL told me se vetal times that they have no money for vivre cable, secondly the vivre cable comes from China, and most important they have man power shortage. With these problems they are not abke to give connections.
While Bharat Fiber is still lickingbits sound, they provide connection via overheid cable, which most housing societies deny permission. But the winner is Jio and Airtel that have underground cable and have provide phone and fivre connection and capture the market. So better to hand over BSNL to private players. A top CGM of BSNL told me, "Ab Govt ki bas ki baat nahi rahi.". But early the white elephants and termites in BSNL are least converted and are thick dinner andvshameless
