BSNL’s Prepaid International Roaming service is currently available for 80 networks in 58 countries across the world. By activating Prepaid International Roaming facility, BSNL mobile customers can use their same prepaid mobile number while travelling in these countries.
Customers who wish to use their prepaid mobile number to make and receive calls, SMS and data services abroad may activate International Roaming STVs as per their requirement and usage. BSNL is providing international roaming services in UAE in association with partner networks – M/s Etisalat & M/s DU. BSNL offers three different Prepaid International Roaming STVs for UAE which are – IR STV ₹497, IR STV ₹898 & IR STV ₹2199.

How can I Avail BSNL Prepaid International Roaming Service?
Customers can activate BSNL’s Prepaid International Roaming facility on their existing number in just three steps.
Step 1. Replace SIM Card
Customers may replace their existing SIM card with BSNL Prepaid International Roaming enabled SIM cards (Dual IMSI SIM Card) from nearest Customer service centers. Customers are requested to submit a copy of ID proof or Aadhar card to get international roaming enabled Dual IMSI SIM card.
Step 2. Activate Prepaid International Roaming Facility
After getting new SIM card which is enabled with International Roaming, the facility can be activated with BSNL’s International Roaming STVs – either STV 58 or 168. IR STV 58 offers 30 days validity whereas IR STV 168 offers 90 days validity. After the expiry, a customer may recharge with any of these two IR STVs to get continued International Roaming Service on your BSNL prepaid mobile number. This STV can be activated on any of the existing BSNL Prepaid Mobile Plans.
Step 3. Recharge International Roaming STV for Calls, Data & SMS
After activating Prepaid International Roaming Service with STV 58 or 168, customers may select any one of the three International Roaming STVs for UAE (IR STV ₹497 or IR STV ₹898 or IR STV ₹2199) as per their usage pattern or requirement.
- BSNL UAE IR STV 2199 offers 1000MB data, 200 minutes free local calls, 200 minutes free calls to India & 120 minutes free incoming calls with 7 days validity.
- BSNL UAE IR STV 898 offers 250MB data, 120 minutes free local calls, 60 minutes free calls to India & 50 minutes free incoming calls with 3 days validity.
- BSNL UAE IR STV 497 offers 100MB data, 40 minutes free local calls, 40 minutes free calls to India & 30 minutes free incoming calls with 1 day validity.
