BSNL today announced the extension of its promotional offer for validity expired prepaid mobile customers till 31st March 2021 across all telecom circles. BSNL’s discounted recharge offers of ₹139 & ₹1199 are exclusively available for inactive customers i.e., BSNL prepaid mobile numbers which are not active and are under GP2 (Grace Period 2) & beyond GP2 status.
The said scheme is going to expire on today, the 31st December 2020. As we reported on 5th November 2020, BSNL initially launched this scheme as a promotional offer for a period up to 30th November 2020 and later the same was extended up to 31st December 2020. Now based on the tremendous response from customers, BSNL authorities has decided to extend the same scheme further for a period upto 31st March 2021 on PAN India basis.

How can I activate BSNL Offer ₹139 or ₹1199 on my prepaid number?
BSNL recharge offers 139 / 1199 are available only to customers in GP2 or beyond GP2. It means, these plan are available to Inactive (Validity expired numbers with ‘Inactive Status’) BSNL Prepaid Mobile Numbers. To activate special offer, customers need to recharge their number with desired denomination. To activate ₹139 offer and to increase validity by 28 days, just recharge your BSNL prepaid number with ₹139. It can be done either online or through BSNL CSC/Retailer Shops. Similarly, to activate special offer ₹1199 and to increase validity by 365 days, just recharge your number with ₹1199.
How to Know Status of your BSNL Prepaid Mobile Number?
To know the current status of your BSNL prepaid number, just dial *123# It will display the following information on screen – Plan Name, Validity, GP1, GP2 etc.
Applicable Conditions on discounted vouchers:-
- VAS (Value Added Service) (if any) bundled with STV187 & PV1499 will not be extended with discounted voucher of Rs.139 & Rs.1199
- During this promotional offer, incoming SMS facility will be given to GP-2 and beyond GP-2 customers.31-03-2021 across all telecom circles.
- At the end of this promotional offer, incoming SMS facility will be barred again.
Customers in GP-2 will be given two SMS daily from BSNL with “features of voucher in short and the recharge link” of discounted voucher of Rs.139 and Rs.1199. Customers can make their number active by recharging with any one of the two discounted offers within the offer period.
