Good news to millions of BSNL mobile customers all over India, as the state run telecom major – BSNL has decided to offer TRUE UNLIMITED VOICE CALLS without any FUP in all unlimited calling offers for its prepaid and postpaid mobile customers all over India.
BSNL authorities has taken this customer friendly step after the abolishment of IUC charges for mobile calls as per “The Telecommunication Interconnection Usage Charges (Fifteenth Amendment) Regulations, 2019″ by TRAI. This means, BSNL Mobile customers need not worry about FUP usage limits in prepaid and postpaid unlimited calling offers.
An official statement from BSNL regarding the removal of FUP limit of unlimited voice facility read as follows:-
The competent authority has decided that the FUP limit of 250min/day for unlimited voice facility is to be removed latest by 10-01-2021 on all the prepaid vouchers with unlimited voice facility under GSM prepaid services and with unlimited voice facility under postpaid GSM services while keeping all other terms and condition same.
All other terms and conditions will remain same. The above mentioned tariff will be implemented latest by 10-01-2021 by BSNL in all the telecom circles.
Offer Applicable to All Prepaid & Postpaid Customers of BSNL
BSNL introduced FUP limit of 250 min calls / Day with all unlimited calling offers in prepaid and postpaid categories way back in August 2019. Customers using more than 250min/Day are currently charged at base tariff plan which is applicable to Plan Vouchers, STVs and Combo Vouchers with unlimited voice calling benefits. This FUP usage limit will be removed by BSNL with effect from 10th January 2021. Customers can make true unlimited voice calls to any landline or mobile numbers of any network with BSNL’ Unlimited Calling Packs and Offers. Removal of Voice FUP limit will be applicable to both existing as well as new mobile customers of BSNL across all telecom circles.
