State run telecom major – BSNL has decided to offer Unlimited Broadband Internet connection to Hon’ble MPs (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) over Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) & Bharat Fiber (FTTH). BSNL is providing telecom facilities including high speed unlimited broadband internet connections to members of Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha at special discounted rate.
BSNL already launched special tariff plans for Landline, Broadband and FTTH (Bharat Fiber) services exclusive to Hon’ble MPs (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha). Till now, these services are being offered directly through BSNL. As we reported earlier, BSNL is rapidly deploying Bharat Fiber (FTTH) and Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) services with the help of franchisees and telecom infrastructure providers (TIPs/LCOs/MSOs) all over India. Hence, BSNL authorities has decided to launch special tariff plans for Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) & Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections provided through TIPs for MPs.

B) Plan details of Bharat Fiber (FTTH) through TIPs for MPs are as below:-
a) The Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans i.e. BB SANSAD ULD 1500 & BB SANSAD ULD 1000 are already working for Hon’ble MPs and the same will continue as it is.
b) However, in some areas BSNL Copper/FTTH Network is not available/feasible, in those areas broadband over Bharat Fiber (FTTH) & Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) may be provided through BSNL TIPs and the Fibre extension charges & Modem charges as payable to TIPs by customers shall be included in 1st bill of Hon’ble MPs that shall be paid by respective Lok Sabha /Rajya Sabha Secretariats up to MPs available quotas.

C) The terms and conditions for providing Bharat Fibre (FTTH) & Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) Broadband plans through TIPs are as below:-
a) Administrative charges of 10% on the cost of ONT/CPE (which to be supplied / installed by TIPs for Hon’ble MPs Air Fiber connections) over & above the ONT/CPE charges shall be levied in first bill against the above service. In this regard, circle wise cost of ONT/CPE shall be configured in CDR by ITPC with coordination of circles, time to time.
b) In order to provisioning of Bharat Air Fiber Broadband connection, the installation cost as per case to case basis shall be configured in CDR by ITPC with coordination of circles and the same shall also be levied in first bill.
c) Landline Plan on Bharat Air Fiber for Hon’ble Members of Parliament under plan LL SANSAD 329 may be provided. For this facility IP enabled telephone instrument is required for availing Voice services using Bharat Air Fiber. However, BSNL is not providing this IP telephone instruments to its Bharat Air Fiber customers and they have to purchase the same from open market/BSNL’s Bharat Air Fiber channel Partners.
All the relevant terms & conditions shall remain same. All the charges mentioned above are exclusive of GST. The above instruction shall be implemented with effect from 15-04-2021 in all the Telecom circles/Metro Districts.
