BSNL today announced the re-launch of it’s promotional Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans – Fibre Basic, Fibre Value, Fibre Premium and Fibre Ultra for a promotional period of 90 days with immediate effect. This announcement came right after the re-launch of Free Installation Offer for new BSNL broadband and internet connections during April 2021.
BSNL initially launched these promotional Fiber Broadband (BSNL FTTH) plans on1st October 2020 – on BSNL foundation Day. These plans were really a game changer in FTTH segment because BSNL’s FTTH plans were not competitive till that time as compared to other private ISPs. After the introduction of these economic and value for money FTTH plans, BSNL could add millions of new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections every month. The starter plan was the most popular among them. It was named as Fibre Basic plan with fixed monthly rent of just Rs 449/- with 30Mbps download speed till 3300GB.

Above charges are exclusive of GST. The plan shall be available only for the new Broadband customers and available on promotional basis. Customers opting ‘Fibre Basic’ plan will be migrated automatically to ‘Fibre Basic Plus’ plan after the expiry of six months from the date of activation. Customers will be informed suitably in advance about automatic plan migration after six months. Customer’s consent in this regard shall be taken at the time of CAF (Customer Application Form) filling. In addition to nearest customer service center and BSNL Franchisees/Retailers, above FTTH Broadband plans can also be subscribed by calling Toll Free number – 1800 345 1500. These instructions shall be implemented with immediate effect on promotional basis for a period of 90 days.
