BSNL prepaid data offer – STV 198 (Recharge 198) – will be revised to offer increased validity of 50 days and free Lokdhun content with effect from 1st June 2021. At present, BSNL data STV 198 offers unlimited data 2GB/Day & BSNL Tunes for 45 days.
As per the latest information, this prepaid data recharge plan (BSNL Recharge ₹198) will give customers increased validity period of 5 days without any additional cost. BSNL has also decided to bundle this recharge offer with Lokdhun content with effect from 01-06-2021. However, the existing BSNL Tunes offer will be removed from this STV after the tariff revision.

The above revision in tariff will be effective with effect from 1st June 2021 onwards across all the telecom circles. The implementation of the tariff is made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders / guidelines / clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
How to activate BSNL Data STV ₹198 (BSNL Recharge Offer Rs 198)?
BSNL prepaid mobile customers can activate data STV 198 by C Top Up or Online Recharge Portal or Selfcare. The offer is applicable to all the existing as well as new prepaid mobile customers of BSNL in any plan.
- C Top Up Activation : Customers may activate data STV 198 by recharging their mobile number with denomination of Rs 198.
- Online Recharge Portal Activation : Just use BSNL Payment Portal or My BSNL App and recharge your mobile number with Rs 198.
- Selfcare Activation : Here customers having sufficient prepaid main account balance may use SMS activation or USSD activation method.
