Please don't buy BSNL unless you are left with no option. I have 150 mbps plan and I get 3 mbps. YouTube will play at 144p by default many times. The network quality is poor. My skype and WebEx calls keep disconnecting often.
Hi is it a Fiber or Broadband connection. Please reply.
Yes. This plan is for new Bharat Fiber (Broadband connection provided through Fiber)
Contact number please
Can old users get bsnl 499 plan ??
Or which is cheapest plan for old fiber subscriber
449/-
Yes. Existing customers can change to 449 plan (Fiber Basic).
I asked officers in my area and they do not have any info regarding the 449 plan update..
But our Trichy CSC (TN circle) staffs said that, fibre basic 449 plan is not showing on system to downgrade the plan for existing customers.
Through Selfcare portal also could not able to downgrade to 449 plan.
Plan upgrade only can be done via Selfcare Portal whereas plan downgrade option is available only through BSNL Customer Care or BSNL Telephone Exchange.
When will this 449 plan come into effect or when will the officers get notified about the 449 plan? I have been enquiring to officers in may area again and again, they told that they do not have any info regarding 449 plan update as of now. My friends in other districts also have same experience. I am from kerala.
Fiber Basic 449 plan is now available to all the existing as well as new customers.
Here only saying this plan is open for all customers but the reality in csc they are saying this plan is only for new customers. They show me theCRM portalI couldn't find the fibre basic plan. Then finally I approached AGM he also confirmed this is for new customers only.
Yesterday I changed my plan from 499 to 449.
Dear Adityan RS,
I'm from Coimbatore district rural.
Is Bsnl 449 ftth fiber plan can be availed from my lco?
What can I do if he insist to choose some old ftth plans with less quota like 779 and 849?
Can I get customer ID, service ID, billing account number from Lco or from bsnl?
Can I upgrade/downgrade the ftth plan through self-care portal or csc after I got the connection from my lco in Coimbatore district rural?
Can the lco block my upgrade/downgrade request?

Adityan, which cicle you are? Tell how you downgrade your plan and what is the new plan name. Because in csc they showed me the available plans in the CRM portal but I couldn't able to find fibre basic plan.
I am from Trivandrum in Kerala. I applied for plan change to Fiber Basic plan in CSC. They changed my plan on the very next day itself.
Ok thanks… I will wait for few days for Tamil Nadu circle
Now Tamil nadu circle has removed the fibre basic plan 449 from the BSNL FTTH plans portal. Maybe the plan is not for all users/circles
