BSNL today announced the extension of promotional Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans for another 90 days i.e., up to 6th October 2021 across all the telecom circles except Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle. The extended list of promotional BSNL FTTH (Bharat Fiber) plans include – Fibre Basic ₹449, Fibre Value ₹799, Fibre Premium ₹999 & Fibre Ultra ₹1499.
Out of these 4 promotional plans, Fibre Basic ₹449 plan is available everywhere in the country without any restrictions whereas the other 3 plans viz – Fibre Value ₹799, Fibre Premium ₹999 & Fibre Ultra ₹1499 are limited to customers in selected cities only. It means, these 3 plans are not available everywhere in India but is available only in certain areas where BSNL is facing stiff competition from other private FTTH operators like Reliance Jio, Airtel etc. Now, BSNL authorities has amended the list these selected cities by adding more places into the chart.
BSNL initially launched these promotional FTTH plans in selected cities on BSNL Foundation Day in the year 2020. Later, based on the increasing demand from customers in other cities/circles, BSNL authorities extended these plans to more areas in November 2020, December 2020 & January 2021. Now BSNL has decided to offer these 3 special FTTH plans – Fiber Value 799, Fiber Premium 999 & Fiber Ultra 1499 – plans to all customers in Himachal Pradesh telecom circle. In addition, more cities are added in Karnataka and Maharashtra telecom circles also.

This revised areas are applicable with effect from 2nd July 2021 onwards. Customers in these areas may get BSNL’s Ultra Fast 300Mbps FTTH Broadband service.
Bharat Fiber Welcome Offers (Introductory Plans)
BSNL’s introductory Bharat Fiber Plans – Fibre Basic 449 & Fiber Basic Plus 599 are now available everywhere in the country. Fiber Basic 449 plan allows maximum of 30Mbps download speed till 3.3TB usage whereas Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan offer 60 Mbps download speed till 3.3TB usage. Both plans offer 2Mbps post FUP download speed and unlimited voice calls to any network without any additional cost.
Earlier BSNL FTTH customers enrolled in Fiber Basic 449 plan were normally get converted to Fiber Basic Plus 599 plan after 6 months. Now, BSNL has decided to remove the automatic plan upgradation after 6 months and customers may continue in the same 449 plan as per his/her choice.
How can I book my BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Connection?
All these newly launched plans are now available either directly through BSNL or through LCOs/TIPs in these areas. Customers need to book BSNL FTTH connections through BookMyFiber Portal or My BSNL Mobile app. However to get your application processed faster, it is always recommended to submit application at your nearest BSNL customer service center or BSNL Office or BSNL exchange.
