BSNL has announced the revision in validity of prepaid mobile Plan Vouchers (PVs) and Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) with effect from 1st August 2021 on PAN India basis. As per the latest information, the validity period of some of the selected recharge vouchers/denominations will be reduced without any change in freebies.
The revision in validity is applicable to the following BSNL recharge vouchers/denominations : – Special Tariff Vouchers ₹49, ₹75, ₹94 and Plan Vouchers ₹106, ₹107, ₹197 & ₹397. BSNL’s low cost special tariff voucher of ₹49 will offer reduced validity of 24 days instead of 28 days. One of the most popular annual prepaid mobile plan voucher ₹397 will offer reduced validity of 300 days instead of 365 days.

BSNL’s STV ₹49 is one of the most popular prepaid recharge denominations. This STV can also be used by validity expired prepaid customers to extend their validity. BSNL allows discounted call rate of just 45 paisa / minute, 2GB free data and Total Free 100 SMS(To any network) for the entire validity period. Customers recharging with BSNL STV ₹49 from 1st August 2021 will get reduced validity period of 24 days.
In revised BSNL STV ₹75, a prepaid mobile customer can enjoy 100 minutes free voice calls to any network, 2GB free data and Free BSNL default tunes for 50 days. After free calls, all outgoing voice calls will be charged at 30ps/minute.
Revised BSNL STV ₹94 also allows 100 minutes free voice calls to any network, 3GB free data for 75 days. This STV also offer Free BSNL default tunes for first 60 days. After free calls, all outgoing voice calls will be charged at 30ps/minute.

Revised Plan Vouchers ₹106 & ₹107 (Premium Per Second & Premium Per Minute Plans) will allow 84 days validity instead of current validity of 100 days. Both these plan vouchers offer 100 minutes free calls to any network, 3GB free data for 84 days. Customers may also enjoy Free BSNL default tunes for 60 days.
Revised BSNL Prepaid Plan ₹197 offer True Unlimited Voice Calls to any network, Unlimited data – 2GB/Day, 100 free SMS/Day and free subscription to Zing Music app. All freebies are available for the first 18 days of recharge. However, plan validity will be 150 days. It means, customers can avail free incoming calls during for 150 days without any additional recharge.
Revised BSNL Prepaid Annual Plan ₹397 offer True Unlimited Voice Calls to any network, Unlimited data – 2GB/Day, 100 Free SMS/Day, Free Lokdhun Content and Free BSNL Default Tunes. All these freebies are valid for first 60 days of recharge. Here, plan validity will be 300 days.

The above tariff will be applicable with effect from 01-08-2021 across all the telecom circles. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders / guidelines / clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time. BSNL telecom circles are also advised to update their website and report the same to TRAI as per tariff reporting requirement of TRAI.
