BSNL DSL Broadband customers who require static IP address may choose this higher end plan. It is because, BSNL will allow static IP address only in broadband internet plans having monthly rental above Rs 1000/-. As the name suggests, BSNL 1600GB CUL Broadband plan offer 1600GB data usage in a month at 10Mbps speed. Static IP address will be issued to customers on chargeable basis. Annual charges for static IP address is Rs 2000/- which will be billed along with BSNL Broadband plan. Initial Charges / Installation Charges for New BSNL DSL Broadband Connection
As a promotional offer, BSNL allows 100% free installation for all new DSL Broadband internet connections for a period up to 03-08-2021. BSNL allows 10% discount scheme for Government employees which is applicable to both serving as well as retired employees under landline , broadband and Bharat Fiber (FTTH) services. To get discount you need to submit application form along with Employment Certificate or Copy of Pension Book (in the case of retired employees).
How can I apply for BSNL DSL Broadband Internet Connection?
To apply for BSNL DSL Broadband Internet connection, you need to submit duly filled application form along with copy of your identity proof and address proof at nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (BSNL CSC) or BSNL Telephone Exchange. Which one you should choose? BSNL DSL Broadband or Bharat Fiber (FTTH)?
As we reported earlier this month, BSNL recently launched an entry level Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plan – Fiber Experience 399 – with 30Mbps download speed and 1000GB data usage. What BSNL previously lacks was the unavailability of fiber in all the locations and unavailability of low end FTTH plans.
