Now BSNL Bharat Air Fiber Customers Can Avail Modem Rental Offer

State run telecom major BSNL today has announced the launch of modem (Customer Premise Equipment) rental scheme for it’s Bharat Air Fiber (BAF) customers all over India. As per the latest information, new as well as existing Bhart Air Fiber (BAF) customers may opt for rental scheme for the customer premise equipments being supplied by BSNL’s partners.

The newly announced Bharat Air Fiber modem rental offer will be available across all the telecom circles as a regular offer with immediate effect. Customers who do not wish to purchase the modem from BSNL’s Air Fiber partners can now opt for this rental offer. BSNL’s Air Fiber partners will be offering you warranty for your Air Fiber modem during the service period. BSNL Air Fiber modem rental scheme will be very much helpful to rollout PSU’s prestigious Air Fiber – Wireless Broadband Services.

An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of modem rental offer for Bharat Air Fiber Customers read as follows:-

In order to provide thrust to AirFibre Services, following have been decided by the competent authority:-

To introduce the monthly rental charges of INR 249/- (GST extra) (up to 3 Kms radial distance) and INR 299/- (GST Extra) (beyond 3 Kms and up to 5 Kms radial distance) for Airfibre CPE to be given to customers by the Airfibre partners.
BSNL shall keep INR 35/- (14.05% of the monthly rent of the CPE Up to 3 Kms) and INR 50/- (16.72% of the monthly rent of CPEs Up to 5 Kms) on this monthly rental as administrative and licensee fee. Remaining amount shall be passed on to the Partners.
Circle can offer above rental charges to the customers with the consent of the Bharat AirFibre Partners.
Payment shall be done by BSNL to BAF (Bharat Air Fiber) partners only on realized amount.

The above instructions shall be implemented with immediate effect (with effect from 21-09-2021) on regular basis in all the circles. BSNL corporate office has also directed it’s filed units to ensure the complaince with all regulatory mechanism including online reporting to TRAI and also update the circle website.

BSNL Air Fiber Services (Bharat Air Fiber Services) allows customers to enjoy high speed wireless broadband internet connectivity.
