Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has started printing the Name and Contact telephone number of Cluster in-charge as well as Accounts Officer in the bills issued to Landline and Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers. This move will really help customers as they can contact concerned BSNL Officers for their Service Related or Billing Related complaints without the need of visiting BSNL Customer Service Centres of BSNL Telephone Exchanges during these pandemic days.
If you are facing any service realted issues, you can directly report it to the Cluster in-charge whose name and office telephone number will be printed in the second page of your telephone bill. Similarly, for billing related issues, customers may directly call Accounts Officer (TR) of your area which also will be printed in your BSNL telephone bill. As per the latest information, BSNL started this new initiative from the month of August 2021 on wards. It means, BSNL telephone bills issued from August 2021 will contain the Name and Contact telephone number of Cluster in-charge and Accounts Officer.
An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of this new initiative read as follows:-
It has been decided to make it mandatory to print name and office landline number of concerned AO (TR) and cluster in-charge in the bills issued to customers for landline, broadband and FTTH services.
BSNL corporate office has already given instructions to telecom circles to ensure that area wise and cluster wise data are shared to respective BSNL Data Centre, so as to enable printing of these details in the bills to be issued from August, 2021 onwards. In case of any subsequent change in the above details from time to time, the updated particulars will also be provided to respective BSNL Data Centre immediately to facilitate printing of current contact details in bills.

We have checked and confirmed the same in the latest BSNL telephone bill which was issued in August 2021. In that bill on the second page, we found the Name and Contact Number of BSNL Officer in our area. Screenshot of the same is attached below:-
However, we are unable to find the Name and Contact Number of Accounts Officer (TR) in the latest bill which was issued in August 2021. Infact, it is clearly written in the bill itself that, we need to contact concerned Accounts Officer (TR) within 60 days after the issue of bill for any billing disputes or billing complaints. But the sad part is, BSNL bill contains no information about Name or Contact Number of concerned Account Officer for billing issues.

If your problem is not resolved within satisfactory time period or BSNL Staff/Officials are not resolving the problem then there is a way to bring your problem / complaint to higher level by registering complains at BSNL Public Grievances (PG) Complaints Portal to resolve the issue within a specific time frame. Ok everything will be well and fine in prints. When one approach the concerned person he will say it will be attended to and call you back. And will they call you back? Seldom. I hv two mob nos. 9495053689 and 9495351209 with 3GB &2GB data per day. What use. Even for watsapp you have to wait for minutes and the wheel is spinning…….
