BSNL prepaid mobile customers can avail extra validity of 60 days in one of it’s most popular prepaid plan 2399 as a promotional offer till 31st December 2021. As per the latest information, BSNL 2399 plan will offer validity of 425 days for all new activations during this offer period. While all the private mobile operators are busy in increasing their tariff, BSNL – the one and only public sector unit has launched this extra validity offer in this hyper competitive telecom market. Extra validity offer for BSNL 2399 plan is available across all the telecom circles till 31-12-2021.
In addition, the PSU has also decided to extend Incoming SMS facility to all validity expired prepaid mobile customers who are presently in Grace Period 2 (GP-2) till 31st March 2022. Hence, all such customers can avail free Incoming SMS facility during this promotional period without any additional cost or recharge. BSNL may use this opportunity to get back such customers by intimating them about newly announced offers and schemes via SMS. So these customers can avail the best availble schemes while recharging their numbers.
An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of these promotional offers for BSNL Prepaid Mobile Customers read as follows.
The competent authority has decided to offer promotional offer with PV-2399 & with incoming SMS facility with GP-II customers under the GSM Prepaid Mobile Services as under:-
A. Extra validity of 60 days with PV-2399 i.e. total validity of 425 (=365+60) from the end of last promotional offer till 31.12.2021.
B. Incoming SMS facility for GP2 customers in all Zones has been extended up to 31-03-2022.

The implementation of the tariff is made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders / guidelines / clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time. BSNL corporate office has also directed it’s telecom circles to update their website and report the same to TRAI as per tariff reporting requirement of TRAI and TRAI regulations.
How To Activate BSNL 2399 Plan?
BSNL 2399 plan can be activated in any of the three methods whcih are described below. Plan voucher with Freebies is applicable for validity extension, migration and new Connection.
1)Recharge 2)USSD & 3)SMS
- Recharge : Just Recharge your mobile number with Rs 2399/- (Online Recharge or through Retailer Shops).
- USSD : Dial *444*2399# and proceed. (Ensure that, you have prepaid account balance of Rs 2399 or more)
- SMS : Send PLAN BSNL2399 to 123 (Ensure that, you have prepaid account balance of Rs 2399 or more).
