What is the difference between a regularised plan and a promotional plan?
From customer point of view, there is no much difference between a regularised plan and a promotional plan. A promotional plan means, the plan was launched only for a specified period of time. It means, you can subscribe to promotional plans only during the promotional period. After that period, the plan will be withdrawn for new customers. Customers who have already subscribed to the promotional plan will not be changed after the promotional period. Promotional plan simply mean that, plan subscription / enrolement is allowed only during the promotional period.
When it comes to a regular plan, a customer can opt / enrole to it at any time as per his requirement. There will not be a declared end date for a regular plan. However, telecom companies can decide on the withdrawal of existing plan as well as introduction of new plans as per TRAI guidelines.
