BSNL launches new FTTH plan ‘Super Star Premium Plus’ bundled with 8 premium OTT apps

BSNL has announced the launch of new OTT bundled Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plan ‘Super Star Premium Plus’ with 150Mbps speed at just ₹999/- per month.

Happy news to millions of Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) Broadband customers as the state run PSU has announced the launch of a new premium OTT bundled FTTH plan ‘Super Star Premium Plus’ @ ₹999/- per month across all the telecom circles. As per the latest information, the newly announced plan is available with immediate effect across all the telecom circles (except Andaman & Nicobar circle) as a regular plan. BSNL Super Star Premium Plus plan @ ₹999/- offers OTT subscription to 8 premium OTT applications absolutely free of cost. It means, by choosing BSNL Super Star Premium Plus plan, you can enjoy premium OTT contents from 8 different OTT applications.

2. Lions Gate LLP
3. Shemaroo Me and Shemaroo Gujarati

An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of new OTT bundled Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plan read as follows:-

As per the recommendation of Content committee and Tariff Committee, the competent authority has decided as below:- To introduce new Bharat Fibre Broadband plan ‘Super Star Premium Plus’ bundled with OTT service in all the circles (except A&N circle). Details are as below:

Terms & Conditions for providing above Broadband plan (Super Star Premium Plus @ Rs 999/-):-

• Bundled ‘OTT’ subscription will be discontinued, in case subscriber opts out from above plan.
• The quantum of realized revenue with ‘OTT’ service Providers shall be shared as per agreement.
• Revenue share with FTTH partners as per Fibre Policy shall be shared after deduction of revenue share of above OTT providers (i.e. on amount of Rs.700/-).
• Above charges are exclusive of GST.

BSNL 50Mbps FTTH plan at ₹499 is now regularised with 1000GB data for new and existing customers

Withdrawal of Existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Plans

BSNL has also decided to withdraw PAN India Fibre Broadband plans ‘Super Star-2@Rs. 949’, ‘Super Star Premium-2@Rs. 949’ and ‘Fibre Premium @Rs. 999’ for new customers in all the circle. Existing customers under these plans shall continue. However, efforts may be made by circle to migrate these existing customers to some other plan/s after 180 days from date of activation of connection by taking the consent of customer. The above instructions shall be implemented with immediate effect in all the circles (except A&N circle).
