BSNL has announced the waiver of installation charges for new broadband and landline (fixed line) connections across all the telecom circles with effect from 16th August 2022.

- 100% Waiver of installation charge is applicable to new broadband as well as landline connections provided via Copper or Fiber or Air Fiber.

- For fixed line connections provided via traditional copper cable, BSNL will offer Rs 250/- as discount in the first month invoice for all new connections.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced 100% waiver of installation charges for new broadband and landline connections for a promotional period of 90 days from 16th August 2022. As per the latest information, all new customers opting BSNL Broadband or Landline connections during this promotional offer period may avail this special discount in their first month invoice. BSNL free installation charge offer is applicable to all new FTTH / Air Fiber / Landline / DSL Broadband customers in all the telecom circles including Andaman & Nicobar telecom circle.
An Official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of FREE Installaion Offer read as follows:-
The competent authority has decided “to waive off installation charges of Rs. 250/- (for copper connections) and Rs. 500/- (for Bharat Fibre connections) on BSNL’s Landline / Broadband connections (Copper / Fibre / AirFibre) on promotional basis for a period of 90 days in all the circles”
The above offer is effective from 16-08-2022 on promotional basis for a period of 90 days (i.e., from 16-08-2022 to 13-11-2022) in all the circles. BSNL has instructed it’s telecom circles to comply with all regulatory requirements including on line reporting to TRAI and also update the circle website.

BSNL Offers for New Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Customers – Summarised
- BSNL has already launched FREEDOM 75 Offer for new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) connections where a new customer need to pay just Rs 275/- for 60Mbps unlimited fiber broadband connection which is also bundled with true unlimited voice calls. FREEDOM plan with OTT benefit is available at just Rs 775/- for the first 75 days.
- Special discount of Rs 1200/- is also available to customers who are upgrading their old landline connections to Bharat Fiber (FTTH).
- 90% discount in the first month fixed monthly charge is available to all new BSNL FTTH customers (except Landline to FTTH migration cases).
- 10% discount in monthly rent is available to Government / PSU employees (Working/Retired) in all FTTH plans.
